Strong Malbec base, blending gently with Cabernet Sauvignon from Altamira and Merlot.
Malbec 88% - Cabernet Sauvignon 7% - Merlot 5%.
The Malbec grapes composing the base of Zemlia Evolución II were harvested in April from the best parts of our vineyard, located at an altitude of 1.100 meters, in the Tunuyán district in the Uco Valley, caught right between Tupungato and Vista Flores. The harvest took place at early hours of the morning, before the sun hits too hard, by hand picking in small 18 kilos bins. Then, berries were manually selected upon arrival at the winery.
Wine with an intense purple color. Dominantly cherry and ripe plum aromas, with subtle coffee and cocoa beans nuances, and light tobacco notes. Tannins are balanced and smooth, with a full body and long lasting aftertaste.
Will reach its optimum in 3 years time. Can be kept over 10 years.
We recommend uncorking the bottle at least 30 minutes before serving, preferably using a decanter. Optimal temperature from 16 to 18°. Zemlia Evolución II is ideal on red meat, game, and cheese (hard and semi-soft).
